Carillon Beach (Destin, FL) Labor Day 2009

Normally, I send out a Snapfish link with all of our pictures. This of course, sometimes proves to be too many pictures. So I've taken the liberty of attaching a few pictures from our latest trip to Destin to visit our sweet & dear friends (family, really!)- Ed, Melinda & Kaitlyn Adams.

Here is Andrew the first morning...He is in 2 1/2 year old Heaven. He has Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on tv, his basketball & "his dogs" (you'll note that "his dogs" are truly everyone else's dogs...) They are cheaper and easier to maintain that way. :)

This is about 30 mins. later, after we have coaxed him outside. This is taken in front of Ed & Melinda's beachhouse in Carillon Beach, "Sweet Serenade". Only a toddler would have to be coaxed onto those beautiful beaches and away from his cartoons! :)

My little fisherman. He's definitely following his Daddy's footsteps. He LOVES fishing.

This is as we were going to take our family picture on the beach. I just love this pic of Ed Adams walking Andrew & Kaitlyn up the walkway together. It's so fun to have our kiddos exactly 1 year apart. (And I'm already trying to play matchmaker!!!) :)

Isn't he such a gentleman to Ms. Kaitlyn ???? :)

My sweet and silly guys. (And Andrew has more shells in his hands..I think we bought home most of Destin's shells!)

This here was a proud moment for a Maryland girl. My baby boy dug into my crab legs at Bayou Bill's.

YAY! He likes it! (Trust me - that's his Proud smile...not a worried face!)

Well - hope you all enjoyed...My next project will be to post the pics from before & after the flood inside our house AND the new pics of the updated outside look... Our house is coming along!!! Til next post....

Time to start one...

Well - we're finally joining the Blogging trend. We are months and years behind, no less...but we're here! These are usually started when you're pregnant or some other monumental event. We missed that boat.

So this blog will start with postings and updates as Andrew enters month #31 of life (that's right - our baby boy just turned 2 years, 7 months old on Sept. 22nd!) and soon I will post pics of the last major remodel due to our house flooding in August.

But for now...we're here and looking forward to expanding our blog entries and photo updates this way rather than my old blast emails.... (I can hear you sighing from relief!! ;o) )

For now...this is one of our most recent pictures of our sweet Andrew. That's right...he's lounging on the couch in his underwear. (Yup - he's turning into a full fledged boy! No longer a baby!!) :) And lemme tell you - he is P-R-O-U-D of his various new undies! Our favorite/funniest new undie story at this time would be the Cowboy's first homegame.

David is into the game as I'm bathing Andrew and getting him dressed for bed. Before he would put on his PJ's, Andrew wanted to "show Daddy his underwear!" So he races for the chair where David is seated, hops on his lap and begins to shake his groove thang. Take into account that David was in his "football zone" and having a 2 1/2 year old jump on his lap and start dancing threw him for a loop. So David quickly asks him, "Andrew what are you doing?" To which Andrew proudly replies while pointing at his cool new underwear, "Wall-E underwear, Daddy!"
