Pool Opening Party
Our neighborhood hosted a "Pool Opening Party" on May 11th and we really enjoyed it! There was music, dancing, food, swimming and we had fun with Mike, Brenda and the boys who came to join in the fun! :)
Practicing Safety
The kids thought it would be fun to start practicing buckling the baby up in his carseat. I think they are doing to be VERY protective! :)
Mommy-Daughter Donut Date
While David was traveling, I had a chance to take Alyssa on a "Mommy Daughter Donut Date" before taking her to MDO one morning after dropping Andrew off at school. It was a nice time to visit and enjoy a few minutes together! :)
Thank you Aunt Mary
The kids wanted to thank my Aunt Mary for sending them books to congratulate them on their upcoming arrival of their baby brother! We took pictures of the kids to send to her :)
Helping Daddy make a Garden
Andrew LOVES helping his Daddy build stuff and it's so much fun to watch him imitate his Daddy! :)
Ranch Dressing
We aren't sure what the deal is but Alyssa definitely has a reaction to Ranch Dressing! She's had this reaction with other foods that have preservatives but we haven't been able to pinpoint what it is just yet. Poor girl! :(
Diva
Oh, our little diva.... Already pretending to be on her cell phone! Thankfully, she accessorizes! :)
And of course, she has to accessorize her Mommy! ;o)
Jackson's 1st Birthday and Celebration of Life!
Our cousin, Jackson, was diagnosed with cancer at 6 months old. After 6 months of treatments and surgery, he was cleared in time for us to celebrate his 1st birthday. We love that little guy and were so Thankful to celebrate with Jeremy, Natalie and the entire family!
Of course, Dad had to get a picture with me and Sheri! :)
Andrew was so proud of Jackson "his hero!" :)
4-15-2013 Baby Shower at Work
My colleagues at my Waco office threw me a surprise baby shower for Baby A. I was so touched by their thoughtfulness and generosity and hate that I only took a picture of the cupcakes! :( (but they were delicious!) :)
1 Year Later
4-11-2013 was 1 year from the date of Alyssa's last horrible seizure. We are sooooo Thankful for God's Mercy and Healing of our baby girl!
Doc McDavlin
Alyssa LOVES the show "Doc McStuffins" and began giving everyone and everything periodic "check ups". She's our DIT (Doctor In Training!)
4-7-13 Sunday School Lesson
Alyssa took her Sunday School Lesson seriously and wanted it to "stick" with her! :)
4-6-13 Art Festival
We thought we would enjoy the Dallas culture we were near again and headed to the Art Festival in Deep Ellum. We had fun and the kids enjoyed their Geico masks the best!
Of course, Alyssa knew how it was best to get around the festival...on her Daddy's shoulders! :)
Her own Style...
Our girl has her own flare! Nothing says style like a spring dress, high heels and winter hat! :)
Slowly but surely getting ready for Baby!
On 4-3-13, I felt like we were making progress. We had the crib set up and I had finished the crib skirt. Andrew also added some personal touches with the cards he made telling the baby how much he loved him :)

Easter 2013
We spent Easter 2013 in Jefferson at Munner's. I spent part of Good Friday at Aunt Laura's and we made a cute lamb cake together that was just scrumptious! I had to take pictures of the recipes because the cake and icing were unbelievable! And so was the time spent together :) I just love my Tia! ;o)
On Saturday, the kids had an egg hunt at the First Baptist Church in Jefferson. We had cousin Toby over and the boys enjoyed playing together and really enjoyed the egg hunt!
Saturday night, Dave & I got to enjoy a date night at Stillwater Inn. We were trying to squeeze in as many as we could before Baby 3 arrived!
Sunday morning there were tornado warnings all around so we didn't make church but we enjoyed a nice indoor egg hunt with Munner and had a nice lunch. We headed home and it was obvious the kids had a great weekend as shown below! :)
