My Daddy Dressed Me...

For a few months, Alyssa attended a MDO program.  David got her dressed each day and was so proud to send me a picture of her in a new outfit.  I got the picture on my phone and did a closer look.... her outfit was on backwards! LOL!  I texted David immediately but he told me it was too late, that he had already dropped her off at MDO.  Oh well, he tried.  And it was sweet.  And too funny :)

And here she is later that evening once I turned her outfit around... 

Play Time!

Once again, I was doing laundry and Alyssa was sitting in the family room "helping" me.  She was so happy and cute, I just had to take a picture of our princess :)



Silly Costume

A few years ago, our good friend bought Andrew the "King" cape and crown costume.  For some reason, Andrew decided to get it out instead of getting his jammies on and this is what he came up with...

Here we explained that he didn't have it on right and he started to get tickled about it...



He finally got it on right and thought it was too funny because this way his undies showed.  Oh well... it looks funny either way :)

Sibling Love and Wrestling

After we got the kids bathed the other night, they hung out for a few minutes in Andrew's room while I got more bedtime stuff together.  Andrew wanted me to take a picture of him holding his sister, so I happily obliged...

...there they go again! She is QUICK! :)

And the best part is that the whole time, they laugh.  They giggle.  They make the most glorious sounds a mother can hear when they wrestle around.  My sweet loves!!!

Fun Times in the Yellow Rubber Ducky

Once again, we have a yellow ducky for a baby to play in while one of us takes a bath.  Andrew had one and so of course, we had to get Alyssa one too :)  She LOVES the water.  She loves to splash and swish around in it! Fun times :)

It's been so horribly hot, the kids - and David! - have really enjoyed the little pool this summer... lots of fun and a quick way to cool off :)

Wrestlemania 2011

Alyssa has a knack for wrestling. At just over 8 months old, both her brother and her Daddy have gotten her involved in wrestling and occasionally I am the innocent victim of their play fun :) Below are a few pics we took after a bit of unexpected wrestling took place....

8 Months Old

July 14, 2011, our baby girl turned 8 months old! We had a t-ball game that evening so we had a quick birthday dinner at LaFiesta, went to the game and afterwards, Andrew picked out cupcakes from HEB :)
(I think the sugar is kicking in!)

Father's Day Card

Similar to the Mother's Day card that Andrew made me this year, Andrew made one for David in his daycare class. It reads:

"This is my dad. He has black hair and probably camouflage eyes. He is 22 years old. He is really good at football, soccer ball, basketball and baseball. I like it when he does projects and goes to the park and play together and when we snuggle, wrestle and fight and all that. I love my Dad!"

VBS and Reading

Andrew's daycare participated with VBS that was going on a few weeks ago. This year's theme tied in the "Big Apple" so Andrew had fun making crafts that went along with NYC! Below is a picture of the guys reading one of the books he made...
