Easter 2013

We spent Easter 2013 in Jefferson at Munner's. I spent part of Good Friday at Aunt Laura's and we made a cute lamb cake together that was just scrumptious! I had to take pictures of the recipes because the cake and icing were unbelievable! And so was the time spent together :) I just love my Tia! ;o)

On Saturday, the kids had an egg hunt at the First Baptist Church in Jefferson. We had cousin Toby over and the boys enjoyed playing together and really enjoyed the egg hunt!

Saturday night, Dave & I got to enjoy a date night at Stillwater Inn. We were trying to squeeze in as many as we could before Baby 3 arrived!

Sunday morning there were tornado warnings all around so we didn't make church but we enjoyed a nice indoor egg hunt with Munner and had a nice lunch. We headed home and it was obvious the kids had a great weekend as shown below! :)

Saying Bye to Old Red....

On 3-27-13, we finally sold our Tahoe. We bought the Tahoe 1 year before we had Andrew. We hated to see her go but needed a 3rd row, so we bought the Enclave. Now we wish we had the Tahoe back! HA!

JR Irvin Movie Night

We got to participate in JR Irvin's Movie Night where they showed "Wreck-It Ralph". It was a super fun time and we really enjoyed it!

Oklahoma and Joey's Graduation

On March 16, 2013, we traveled to Oklahoma where my brother, Joey, was stationed at Ft. Sill. He was graduating from his training to be able to operate a Patriot Missile Launcher.

We started off our trip with a pit stop for lunch at Babe's in near Denton. Who can resist a picture with a huge chicken?!?!

Not long after crossing into Oklahoma, we went to a drive through petting zoo. The animals liked coming right up and almost into the car window!

We finally made it to Ft. Sill and found our soldier! We enjoyed dinner with him before heading to OKC to stay at our hotel for a few days while Joey worked while we awaited the graduation.

Our first dinner in OKC was at Toby Keith's restaurant...yummy!

Our adventures in OKC wore sister out...she slept until about 10:30!

After we got up and going, we headed to lunch ...

And then to the Discovery museum and enjoyed lots of cool activities and learning!

My cousin, Andrea, had recently moved to OKC so we were so thankful to meet up for dinner with her and her husband, Dane. She was so much fun and Andrew just adored her!
