First Christmas in our New Home!

The kids really wanted to decorate for Christmas - and so did I! It was hard breaking away from all the unpacking we still had to do but we shoved the boxes aside and enjoyed decorating our tree in our new home!

 

 

 

 

 A few days later, we hosted the Toy side of the family for family Christmas.   Of course, we still weren't unpacked or set up yet but I really wanted to have the dining room in better shape.  We lacked a tall enough ladder for David to be able to hang the second chandelier so thankfully Mike was able to give David a lift!

 

 

 

And it sure turned out nicely!

 

 

 

Even though we weren't quite settled, it was great having the cousins and family over!  We wanted a home large enough to host family and friends comfortably and we felt like all went well and everyone enjoyed themselves!

 

 

 

The next day, Alyssa got sick and while she rested, Andrew & I made Christmas cookies together to get ready for Santa to arrive!

 

 

Christmas morning came and Alyssa was still pretty puny :( but we tried to make the best of our Christmas morning together before Mike, Brenda and the boys arrived:

 

 

Alyssa loved her stroller and baby doll from Aunt Melinda!

 



 

Andrew was super excited about his "As Seen on TV" Stompees... he is a walking, talking infomercial these days! :)

 

Both kids were excited about the Wii!



 

Even though we weren't officially settled, it felt good to celebrate our first Christmas in our new home! :)
