About a week and a half ago, I was taking advantage of the boys watching the Cowboy's game in order to work on my Bible study. A few minutes into my study, Andrew came to see what I was up to and then began doing his own "Bible Study". He then found one of my devotional books and began flipping through them while being seated next to me in the dining room. A few minutes later, Andrew hollered out to David "Daddy! Tell me to come in there!!" Of course, both David and I were thinking that he wanted to get back to watching the Cowboys game in the living room. So David, being the good sport, did as he was asked and called "Andrew, come in here!" To which, Andrew replied "Just a minute! I'm doing my Bible study!" and then began turning the pages of my devotional and singing a remix of "Jesus loves the little children" and "Jesus loves me."
That was such an incredibly proud time for both David and I to see him mimic that. And this past Sunday, the night before his surgery, he proudly sat with his "green Bible" at the table where I was doing my study. I couldn't help but take pictures this time... enjoy!
