Andrew's Thoughts on Marriage

As mentioned in the previous post, we attended a wedding yesterday. Recently, we jokingly discussed marriage with Andrew because a girl in his daycare class (Miriam) says he is her "boyfriend." Andrew on the other hand, is going through the phase where girls are "yucky" and boys & girls don't hang out.

After discussing Miriam and other girls that seem to adore him, he told us quite frankly that he is NOT going to get married. When we questioned him, he plainly said he was not getting married but that he planned on being a "player." As we tried not to laugh or show the surprise we felt by his response, we inquired as to what he meant by "player." Andrew very matter of factly told us, "You know... a player... like baseball, basketball...."

PHEW! Maybe there is hope I'll get him married in the future after all! :)
